The Olfactive Stéréophonique is a fragrance diffuser created through a collaboration between Byredo and OJAS, designed to disperse scent in a manner similar to the way a speaker disperses sound. It is not a speaker itself, but rather a device that uses speaker design theory to evenly diffuse fragrance throughout a room. The process involves sitting comfortably with a high-fidelity sound system and selecting disks that set the tone for the moment, creating a multi-sensory experience where setting and scent are critical. The diffuser comes with 10 dry diffusion discs of the "Olfactive Pyramid" scent, which includes ingredients such as incense, clove buds, bay, ylang-ylang, and guaiac wood.
